As it provides powerful backlit settings, some people may find it difficult to adjust the backlit mode to the one they need, so today we made this tutorial to show you how to switch to a stunning backlit mode. South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands (USD $)Īs one of Magic Eagle Gaming series, the HV-KB366L Mechanical Keyboard not only provides satisfying typing and gaming experience, but also provides dazzling backlit modes to match your environment setting.Saying all of this you can still buy this keyboard on Amazon and I would say it is 100% still worth it to buy this keyboard as if you treat it at least slightly well you can get multiple years out of it. But for having a 40$ keyboard for 3 years I would for sure that it was worth every penny I spent on it. The only thing that has started to become a issue is the space bar is starting to stick even after multiple cleaning sessions. And while I would definitely say it's seeing its age I also wouldn't say that it's lost any of it's real use. Saying all of that I would for sure say this is an amazing keyboard for anyone who is looking for a budget keyboard that can keep the rounds for a long time. I've put thousands of hours of typing on this thing, dropped it, slammed it, spilled drinks on it. I have had this keyboard since early 2020 ish and would definitely say it's been one of the better budget keyboards I've ever had. I know this is a old post but I wanted to throw my two cents in as well. Also on a scan test the fastest key press I got was about 3ms. I don’t know much about havit and their quality control so your mileage may vary. I think on Amazon I picked it up for about 44 bucks. Overall for 50 bucks you can’t go too wrong with this keyboard. I would say however that I wish I knew about the keychron c1 as that keyboard is only about 10-20 more dollars and is hot swappable and has a backlight plus a detachable c to c cable and a Mac layout which is kinda OP in my scenario. This keyboard got me into the world of mechanical keyboards and it’s solid for a first time buy. I also added a small coil and Aviator connector just for aesthetics and the whole thing probably cost me no more than 60 bucks including the keyboard. It was definitely painstaking work but worth the feel! I’ve had it for 4+ months and so far have not had any issues with the switches and I hope they can keep that way but only time will tell how well the keyboard holds up. I did it the “ghetto” way by pushing down the switches and inserting lube through a fine brush. So I’ve had this keyboard for about 4 months now and I must say if you are looking for a budget but still quality feeling keyboard this one is not bad! I instantly fell in love with the color scheme and feel of the board! The switches were my biggest concern as their knock off cherry reds but I added some lube to the switches and stabilizers and it’s a game changer, the original keyboard is fine but if you want to make it even better I would totally recommend simply applying some lube to the stabs and switches. Throw a set of Tai-Hao doubleshots on this and you're probably good to go for a budget gaming keeb. I plan to check that out and keep the one I like more. There's a similar model with RGB and Outemu red switches for only $27 as well. Mostly I'm curious how easy it will be to adapt to the numpad being there. The frame and chassis feel solid, not flexy and cheap. So it's an odd mix of high and low quality there. The pictures on Amazon look like they're stenciled shine-through keycaps but they're not. The keycaps are pbt, with a nice micro grain texture but they're pad printed which means the letters and stuff will rub off eventually. It is also able to be found in blue switches. It answers the question "hey, what if you got rid of the nav cluster most people don't use much and put the numpad there?" It has Jixian brand knockoff red switches which means its keypress is light and linear (no clicking or tactile bumps). So when I saw a mech board for $39.99 in a layout format I've never seen before, I had to snag one and try it out! So this is the Havit 89 key mechanical keyboard. My at home gaming board for a long time was a Gigabye Force K83, that was able to be bought for $40 for a long time till it was discontinued. I am also a fan of super cheapo mechanical keyboards that are crazy good value. I am a fan of fancy handcrafted mechanical keyboards that cost way too much.
